App Crashes

  • Update to the latest version of PrivacyInsights from the App Store
  • Restart your iPhone completely
  • If problem persists, reinstall the app (your settings will be preserved)

Bluetooth Scanner Doesn't Find Devices

  • Check that Bluetooth is enabled in iOS Settings
  • Grant the app Bluetooth permission in Settings → Privacy & Security
  • Note: Some devices aren't discoverable (e.g., paired AirPods)
  • Try moving closer to devices you expect to find

Network Scanner Doesn't Find Devices

  • Verify you're connected to WiFi (not cellular data)
  • Grant the app Local Network access in Settings
  • Some networks block scanning for security reasons
  • Try scanning from a different WiFi network
